Marilyn L. Dunaway

	Marilyn L. Dunaway, 46, of Elkville, passed away Monday, February 18, 2002 at Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.
	Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 21 at Meredith Funeral Home, Carbondale with Brother William Graver officiating.  Interment was held at Oakwood Cemetery, Carterville.  Friends called after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
	Marilyn was born March 30, 1955 in Carbondale to Marion Smith and Patricia L. (Ridgeway) Smith.  She married Jack R. Dunaway December 27, 1978 in Harrisburg.
	Survivors include her husband, Jack R. Dunaway of Elkville; one son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Kara Smith of Royalton; one grandson, Dakota Smith; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Smith; her parents, John E. and Patricia L. Rogers of Carterville; one brother, Michael E. Rogers of Harrisburg and one grandmother, Leona I. Rogers of Homestead, Fla.
	Her biological father, Marion Smith, and one sister, Pamela Smith, preceded her in death.
	Marilyn was a member of First Apostolic Church, Pinckneyville.  Mrs. Dunaway worked as a truck driver for Henderson Trucking in Salem.  She had been employed by Shelter Insurance as a secretary and had worked as a data processor for several places.  Marilyn took great joy in being a homemaker.
	Marilyn had recently been a patient at the DuQuoin Dialysis Center.  She loved all those whom she touched.
